Favorite Scene or Quote: "There is no right or wrong way to be trans."

Gist: Moving through a year of seasons, TC shares their journey to embracing their trans identity and finding happiness in all the moments with their chosen family.

What you expected vs reality? From judging the cover, I thought this would be a lovely story giving hope to the reader, and wow it was more than I anticipated. This book is a giant hug and a warm cup of tea.

Takeaways & Reflections: With all the anti-trans rhetoric flying around lately, my nonbinary self needed some joyful stories as an antidote and a reminder that community matters. Our chosen families are important and loving and beautiful. We will get through this together.

Who would you recommend this to? All of our trans and genderfluid and nonbinary community who need a light in the dark or a hand to hold. And our non-queer family & friends who might need to know that trans joy exists.
