Join co-founder & teacher, Danielle Stern, for an LGBTQ+ inspired, donation based community practice. Students do not need to identify as LGBTQ+ to join, but please know this is queer affirming space, with class themes specific to LGBTQ+ affinity communities. Please bring your own mat and any props that will make your practice more comfortable, and attend class only if you have no signs of illness.

we’re gonna be chatting and learning from Debra Freeman, an award-winning writer focusing on Black foodways throughout America, but particularly in Virginia and the greater South.
Debra Freeman is the host & creator of Setting the Table, was recently named as a Black Women in Food, a Snailblazer by Slow Food USA, and one of the Most Powerful Richmonders of 2022. her work has been featured in outlets such as Eater, Conde´Nast Traveler, Food52, Modern Farmer, The Local Palate, Plate Magazine, Epicurious, Garden and Gun, Pit Magazine, Gravy, Southern Grit Magazine, and Gastro Obscura, and she’s also been a cultural commentator for BBC Radio.
